Gender Development Index is currently reported for 179 countries. The highest value is 1.04 in Ukraine; the lowest is 0.407 in Yemen.
The median across all reporting countries is 0.971, and the mean is 0.9522.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 3.
Over the past decade 135 countries rose and 38 fell. The largest increase was in Pakistan (up 12.9%), and the largest decrease in Yemen (down 32.1%).
